About the course

Here you will find an on-line training course addressing ways of improving your business and serving customers who have specific access requirements.

The course is an "appetizer" which gives a general introduction to the subject of accessible tourism.

It includes short texts, videos with case studies of actual businesses, and references.

It is especially suitable both for owners of businesses and for employees in the tourism industry who wish to learn more about the advantages of this market and how to attract and serve new customers .

To start the Course, please register and log-in, then click on the "My Course" tab.

The course is free of charge. We ask that you answer the User Survey after you have taken the course, so that we can improve it before full release.

ETCAATS Project Kicks Off in Falsterbo, Sweden

The ETCAATS project was successfully launched at the partners' kick-off meeting in Falsterbo, Sweden on 9th to 11th November, 2009.

The project had a rainy start, with an excursion to some of the tourist sites of Falsterbo.

The photograph (above) shows some of the project partners being guided around the ancient castle by Nils-Arvid Andersson, Vellinge Municipality.

Falsterbo and Vellinge are part of the regional network known as "Destination Söderslatt", which is a marketing initiative by the municipalities, visitor attractions, tour operators, accommodation providers and local producers at the south-western corner of Sweden.
